Advanced Sensor Element Interfaces
Keynes Controls design and manufacture component parts for Advanced Sensor Element Interfaces. The parts include dedicated circuit boards, software and interfaces. Keynes has a wide range software library for different digital communication networks enabling fast and reliable products to be developed, manufactured and supplied.
Designs for Accelerometers. Piezo-restive and Silicon Pressure Sensors, Thermocouples, Temperature Sensors, Image Intensifiers
Part Number: NP-PRES-200
REDOX Reaction
Reduction and oxidation measurements create important data for analysis of wet soils. These measurements are actually recordings of voltage (EH) over time between a reference electrode and a sensor electrode inserted into a soil. The sensor electrodes are usually made of platinum wire (Pt electrode).
The NP-REDOX-1-SDI12 PCB uses Platinum electrodes to measure the REDOX reaction in soil. The sensor PCB is supplied fully tested, integrated into the Keynes Controls Q-LOG software.
The NP-REDOX-1-SDI12 PCB supports 3 x REDOX Sensor inputs 1 x Reference Sensor and 1 x SDI12 Communications Port.
Part Number: NP-REDOX-1-SDI12
OEM Customisation
The PCB is designed and manufactured by Keynes Controls and as such can be customised for OEM applications.
ION Selective Electrode Sensors and Interfaces
Keynes Controls design and manufacture Intelligent ION Selective Electrode Interfaces (ISE), which are used to convert the change in concentration of a specific ion contained in a dissolved solution into an electrical potential. The output voltage of the ion-selective-electrode is related to the ionic activity according to the Nernst Equation.
Sensors based upon this technology are used in Analytical Chemistry. biological and biochemistry applications. where measurements in an aqueous solution is required. The Keynes Controls ARGES range of single-ion-electrode sensors use this technology.
The sensor interfaces use ultra-low noise high resolution measurement techniques to record the sensor potentials and isolate the electrodes from the measuring solution in between measurements in order to prevent polarisation effects from contaminating the electrodes. The sensor isolation prolongs the use of the electrodes use and the time period between calibrations.
