Water Quality / Environmental Monitoring Sensors

The Intelligent ARGES Fluoro-pH Sensor by Keynes Controls is a submersible, fluorescent-based sensor built to simplify the acquisition of water quality measurement parameters. It integrates into any platform that supports real-time reporting and data logging operations. Fully compliant with Section 82 of the UK Environment Act 2021, it delivers dependable, long-term stable measurements for stand-alone submerged pH monitoring.

Unlike traditional glass-bulb devices, this sensor offers long-term stable measurements without recalibration and uses no reference cells or reagents that can drift or degrade. It also supports dry long-term storage with immediate deployment, so there is no waiting for the sensor to rehydrate before use.

This video shows the VibWire-201-Pro vibrating wire handheld device which can be used as a stand-alone Sensor Readout Unit.

It comes with built-in SDI12 and RS485 slave network ports for direct connection onto digital networks. Measurements made with the Vibrating Wire Sensor Analyser can be sent remotely to a data logger or a suitable PC data acquisition or SCADA system.

The VibWire-201-Pro is supplied complete with Windows Configuration software and is fully integrated into the free Q-LOG Data Storage and Display Software, enabling remote applications to be created with ease.

The device has User Selectable barometric pressure parameters, such as milli-bar Pascals mH20 Gauge Height-Correction Temperature Deg C etc..

The User can define the order and type of parameter returned to the host unit, this sensor can be used with stand alone data recorders, intelligent instrument systems and PC data acquisition solutions.

This video demonstrates the operation of the USB-SDI12-Pro media converter being used to communicate with the VibWire-108-SDI12 8 channel vibrating wire sensor interface.

The video includes the tone heard from the VibWire-108 interface when scanning the sensor inputs where a clear signal is heard for channel 0. The media converter LED indicators are used to show the status of the USB port and the network traffic passing across the SDI12 interface.

The blue indicator shows the PC USB port is operating at the correct specification The red and green indicators illuminate when data is being sent across the network. When used with the free QLOG applications software the Console features shows the user the network traffic including all commands issued and received, measurement transmission etc
