Sewage Sensor System by Keynes Controls

The Sewage Sensor System by Keynes Controls uses the Tryptophan sensor, brush unit and any other chemical sensor combined into a single sensor system.  Other options of the sensor system are available. The submersible brush is used clean the Tryptophan sensor optics between measurements. Commonly used in this sensor system are Turbidity and Ammonia sensors. Measurements of sewage down to several ppb (parts per billion) are possible. The additional sensors are used to confirm the detection of sewage.

The sewage sensor is offered as a stand-alone model or real-time device when connected to a data logger or Web interface.

The images opposite demonstrate the ARGES Sewage Sensor System by Keynes Controls kit and deployment. Simply lower the sensor into water course under investigation and take measurements. 

The free Windows Applications Software gives the user the ability to review Sewage levels instantly.  Measurements are stored in a CSV text file that can be loaded directly into a spreadsheet.

 

The Keynes Sewage Sensor can be connected to Windows PC, stand-alone data loggers, Web interfaces and plant-wide SCADA applications.

Quality Measurements

All of the ARGES sensor range store the device serial number and calibration date internally. This information can be accessed on demand using the simple SDI12 industry commands. The serial number for the sensor is factory set and cannot be adjusted.

The optional USB media converter can be used to connect a multiparameter instrument to a PC for configuration, testing and measurement operations.
