Terminal Port Menu System
All of the VibWire -108 models have a built-in terminal port menu system that can used to fully configure the instruments. The RS232 port only requires a terminal port emulator and cross-over cable for communication, it does not require any driver software.
MODBUS Setting
The VibWire-108 supports MODBUS over RS485. The instrument can be switched between RS485 and MODBUS using the device keyboard.
The VibWire-108 supports 16 and 32 bit registers and acts as a slave unit.
The VibWire-201 Handheld unit combines a sensor analyser, remote readout, and data recorder into a single device. It records measurements to a SD card that can be read directly by many different types of PC and spreadsheets. All data is stored in a comma separates text format.
The VibWire-201 supports up to 200 User defined sensor types. Free Windows application software makes the instrument a very cost effective support tool for many applications.

The VibWire-201 can be used as a readout unit giving the user the ability to examine sensor readings in Hz, Digits and Engineering Units. A expansion unit is offered that increases the channels to 16 x 4 wire or 32 x 2 wire inputs.
The instrument can be used to examine a sensor spectra in real-time. The spectra is used to determine the signal integrity and is an ideal tool in sensor fault finding. Included with the instrument are the SDI12 and RS485 ports. Use the VibWire-201 for remote access using a Windows PC.
The VibWire-301 is a single-channel vibrating wire sensor interface supporting full 4 wire sensor connection. The device offers a comprehensive range of communications options in a single device such as SDI12, RS485, and MODBUS for digital communications. The instruments supports 4-20 mA and analogue output 0-2 V DC for the older conventional data acquisition systems. The instruments operates as a MODBUS slave and can be used to read and report sensor values to a MODBUS Controller unit.

Optional USB Interfaces
All of the Keynes Controls Vibrating wire sensor interfaces are offered with optional USB interfaces. The media converters can power the instruments directly from a PC USB port without the requirement for an external power supply.
The QLOG software gives the user a standard Windows interface regardless to the Keynes sensor or interface being used. The software is free to download and offered without any restriction.
