VIBWIRE 201 Video Section
The following video shows the real time display of vibrating wire sensor readings using the Keynes Controls VibWire-201-Pro Logger Unit.
This device can act as a stand alone data logger and stores results in Comma Separated Text format to a micro USB memory card. The file format enables the recorded data to be imported and analysed into spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Open Office etc...

This video shows how to assign the vibrating wire and temperature sensor calibration factors and use them with the VibWire-201-Pro instrument.
The video shows how to select and assign the vibrating wire sensor configuration parameters from a real data sheet and assign the parameters for use in the instrument. The VibWire-201 uses a spread sheet type layout using cells to assign the calibration factors. A worked example has also been included that shows the most popular form of calibration equations are shown on the sensor data sheets, The video also shows how to select and use the temperature sensor calibration details. For applications where no temperature sensor information is known then the User can assign pre set factory settings.

VIBWIRE 301 Video Section
The following video shows how the free QLOG software available with this product. is used to identify and setup 4 x VibWire-301 single channel instruments on a SDI12 network with addresses set in the range 0 - 3. A USB-SDI12 media converter connects the instruments to a Windows 10 PC.
The data acquisition rate is set at 1 sample every 10 seconds. The USB-SDI12-Pro media converter is shown using COM Port 4.

The following video is for training purposes only for the Keynes Controls Single Channel Vibrating Wire Sensor Interface Model VibWire-301 and shows the connection to, and operation of the terminal port menu system built into this device.
The VibWire-301 is a very flexible single channel vibrating wire sensor interface manufactured by Keynes Controls in the UK. The VibWire-301 can be configured without any dedicated configuration software or device drivers using a standard RS323 terminal port and terminal emulator software allowing for simple field support operations.
The instrument offers SDI12, RS485, Modbus, 4-20 mA loop and analogue output communications in a single device. It can be connected directly to many 3rd party loggers and network applications. The video demonstrates the physical connection to a Windows PC and how to configure the terminal software for operations.

The following video demonstrates how to configure the VibWire-301 single Channel Vibrating Wire Interface by Keynes Controls to operate on a MODBUS 485 network. The video demonstrates how to configure an instrument to have MODBUS Slave Address set to 12 and give the measurements in DIGITS.
The SDI12 Port and the free issue applications software QLOG supplied with this product is used to make real-time configuration changes to the instrument.

VIBWIRE 108 Video Section
QLOG Multiple Instrument Scan
Real-time demonstration of the VibWire-108 multi-instrument scan across an RS485 network using the free issue Q-LOG device software.
The VibWire-108 is the work horse of the Keynes Controls family of vibrating wire sensor interfaces and is available in a range of models supporting SDI12, Modbus and RS485 Interfaces.
The device is shown operating across the RS485 digital network.
The demonstration shows the device running with the optional USB-495-Pro media converter that enables the instrument to talk directly to a Windows PC, Powers the device directly from a USB port and isolates the network from the PC.

RS485 / SDI12 network ID Number
This video demonstrates how to configure the Keynes Controls VibWire-108 vibrating wire sensor interface ID number for network operations.
The ID number is used to identify the device on a digital network
The video shows the VibWire-108 in use with the Q-LOG applications software.
Q-LOG is the applications software supplied with this product. Q-LOG is used to configure, make measurements and to display the results on a Windows PC environment.
Q-LOG enables the User to enter sensor configuration parameters in familiar Windows environment.
The instrument also demonstrates the in-built sensor frequency display in operation. The device can be configured to display the sensor operating frequency directly on the 7 segment display.
